The trip was capped by a 4 mile paddle to Little Sand Bay where a shuttle picked us up and drove us the 13 miles back to Bayfield. It is always anti-climactic after spending several days getting somewhere to then jump into a car, train, plane, whatever and arrive back at your starting point a matter of minutes later. Steve, Julie, and I piled into the Subaru and drove the 8 1/2 hours back to Chicago, stopping at a Wisconsin "cheese factory" and buying some squeeky-new curd. We took no pictures today.
