Enchantment Lakes Hikes
Hike to Enchantment Lakes - Wenatchee National Forest, WA
Why Hike this Trail?
This one we simply want to hike because of its legendary scenery. The hike is a brutal one, climbing over 5400 feet, but that must only serve to make reaching the Enchantment Lakes, at the top, all that more beautiful, and rewarding.
"The Enchantments remain one of the most spectacular spots on planet Earth to just sit outside a tent, stare in awe at your surroundings, and give in to nature. A series of jewel-like alpine lakes set amidst the most ruggedly beautiful, glacier-carved valley the mind can imagine, The Enchantments almost seem otherworldly. Sitting up here, it's easy to imagine you are witnessing the first or last geological breaths of some faraway world, with mythological forces of rock, water, and sky wildly competing yet somehow melding into a perfect natural harmony." - Pacific Northwest Hiking

Backup Plan... choose another hike in the North Cascades area
If for some reason (permit falls through, trail unhikable, etc) we cannot hike to the Enchantment Lakes, we'll choose another hike in North Cascades National Park...
